At Henley Village Montessori we know the immense benefit to learning a second or multiple languages, and are therefore delighted to offer all children the opportunity to learn Spanish as a second language. 

 

Our native speaking Spanish teachers provide children the opportunity to learn (or continue to develop) Spanish in a relaxed an informal way, as they go about their normal nursery day. Children benefit cognitively (for example increased speed in problem solving and creativity) as well as socially and emotionally (for example they show increased empathy and are more receptive to other cultures and languages). 

 

Spanish as our second language also provides us with ample opportunities to explore other cultures and geographies (European and South American), within meaningful contexts.
